Hello, I am Lilly Todorovic, a professionally qualified, multicultural clinical counselor. I was born in Belgrade and have lived in New York, Montreal and The Hague. I received an MA in Clinical Counseling and a BA in psychology from Webster University in Leiden. I am a Member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Netherlands Institute of Psychology (NIP), and the Dutch Association for Counseling (ABvC).

In my private practice, I help people cope with stress, depression, anxiety, cultural shock, burnout, trauma, and other psychological issues. Besides individual and group therapy, I regularly conduct workshops on assertiveness, stress management, trauma, career counseling, and self-actualization.

I started my career in psychology by organising activities for children and women in refugee camps in wartime Yugoslavia and running integration workshops in New York and Montreal. I have worked for the United Nations, providing psychological support to staff, victims and witnesses at the international tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. I also spearheaded the creation of the tribunal’s Career Transition Office, supporting staff members through personalised coaching sessions and workshops to develop career and life management skills. Besides my private practice, I am currently working as Staff Welfare Officer in the International Court of Justice and provide trainings and workshops to various international organisations.

I also work pro bono with refugees dealing with trauma and adjustment to a new country. I am certified to provide Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), a leading form of trauma treatment.

I would be more than happy to discuss how we can work together. You can find my information on the “Contact” page.
